How do I create an account to purchase online items?
1) Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right side of our site.
2) Enter your email address.
3) Select "I am a new customer".

Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. Your information is NEVER sold to any other company and is kept completely private. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information.


How do I create an account to purchase “on-air” items?
When you call in to purchase an item on Saturday, you will be given a Rockford Radio Shopper Identification Number that is unique to you. If you are not pre-registered when you call to purchase, please allow for extra time to be registered as this will delay the bidding/purchasing of items.

It’s not required, but it might save you some time during the show if you’ve already pre-registered. To Pre-Register for shopping, please call the Maverick Media business office at (815) 874-7861 during normal business hours Monday through Friday (8:30am-5:00pm)

Tell us you’d like to Pre-Register for the Rockford Radio Shopper and once you’re registered, you’ll receive your own Rockford Radio Shopper identification number. This number will enable you to make immediate purchases on items and participate in the bidding process during the LIVE radio auction.


How do I purchase items featured in the “On-Air” section?
Simply tune into 100.5 NTA FM on Saturday from 10am until noon or click “listen live” from our homepage. Listen for the item you are interested in to be released for purchase or bidding. When your item comes up on the program simply call 1-815-874-DEAL (3325) or toll free 1-877-610-VALU (8258).

If it’s an item from the Merchandise Warehouse, call in and purchase the item for the price listed.

If this is a Live Auction Item, call in to bid on your item. You’re welcome to continue calling back to increase your bid, or you can set a maximum bid w/us. If you set a maximum bid, we will continue to bid on your behalf in $10 increments. If your maximum bid is exceeded by another bidder, you can call back to set a new maximum bid. Due to high level call volume we are unable to keep callers on the line.


What is a “reserve price”?
A reserve price is the minimum price we will accept for a particular item based on it’s value. Some, but not all, of our Auction items have a reserve price. The Rockford Radio Shopper is not obligated to sell the item if the reserve price is not met.

As a bidder/buyer, you are not shown or told the reserve price, only whether the reserve has been met. Bid on the auction item as usual by making your maximum bid amount you're willing to pay for a particular item. If the amount you bid does not meet or exceed the reserve price, the item will be held back or bidding for the particular item will continue in another auction segment. When the auction closes, the item will sell to the highest bidder who meets or exceeds the reserve price.
